Trading emails to find a time that works for both people is one of the most common time-wasters at work. Calendly removes it: you share a link, the other person picks an open slot, the appointment lands in your calendar.

Calendly is an appointment scheduling tool. You connect your calendar — Google, Outlook, iCloud or Exchange — and define your availability: days and hours you accept meetings, duration, buffers between appointments, minimum notice. Calendly cross-references these rules with existing calendar commitments and shows whoever receives your link only genuinely free slots. You can create different event types, each with its own rules: a 15-minute intro call, an hour-long consultation, a group meeting. On booking, the tool automatically generates the video call link on Zoom, Meet or Teams, sends confirmations and reminders, and can collect information through a form or take payment via Stripe or PayPal. Team features add round-robin appointment distribution, collective events requiring several people's presence and routing forms that direct contacts to the right person.

For freelancers, consultants, sales teams and anyone who books appointments with people outside their company and wants to stop negotiating times by email.

Calendly's free plan stays free forever but is deliberately minimal: a single event type and one connected calendar. Standard costs $10 per user per month billed annually ($12 monthly) and unlocks unlimited event types, multiple calendars and integrations with major tools. Teams costs $16 per user per month annually ($20 monthly) and introduces round-robin, lead routing and Salesforce integration. Enterprise has custom pricing with high entry thresholds.
