ClipDrop was born from an almost magical idea: point your phone at a real object, cut it out from the background and drag it into a document. From there it grew into a complete suite of AI-based editing tools.

ClipDrop is an ecosystem of AI-based image editing tools, now owned by Jasper. It brings together in a single platform several functions designed to create and refine visuals in seconds: background removal, which isolates the subject with great precision; Cleanup, to remove objects, people and defects; upscaling to increase image resolution; Relight, to change a photo's lighting by choosing the light's direction and intensity; extending the image beyond its original edges (uncrop); background replacement and generative fill. Many of these tools derive from research on image generation models, since ClipDrop was long tied to Stable Diffusion. The tools work from the browser, mobile app and a web editor, and are also available via API to integrate into your own workflows. The free version allows limited use with reduced-resolution exports, while the Pro subscription unlocks high resolution, commercial use and higher volumes.
