Coolors is a tool for generating, exploring and saving color palettes. The basic function is instant and almost playful: you open the generator and press the space bar to get a new combination of five colors, generated according to color harmony criteria. You can lock the colors you like and keep generating the others, manually adjust each shade via brightness, saturation and temperature, and view the exact codes in HEX, RGB, HSB and other formats. Beyond the generator, Coolors offers a vast archive of ready-made palettes created by the community, a tool to extract colors from a photo, a contrast checker for accessibility and the ability to preview the palette applied to real mockups. Saved palettes are organized into projects and can be exported in various formats, from Adobe files to CSS code, or generate images and PDFs to share with clients.
