Elementor is a WordPress plugin that lets you build websites through a visual drag & drop editor, without writing code. In place of WordPress's standard editor, it offers an interface where you drag elements — text, images, buttons, galleries, forms, videos — directly onto the page and edit their appearance in real time, with immediate preview and full responsiveness across desktop, tablet and mobile. The free version already covers page building with dozens of widgets and templates. The Pro version significantly extends the possibilities, turning Elementor from a simple page builder into a tool for building an entire site: the Theme Builder lets you visually design headers, footers, single pages and archives; the Popup Builder creates popups with trigger rules; the Form Builder handles contact forms; and the WooCommerce Builder lets you customize the pages of an online store. Elementor also includes dynamic content, motion effects, custom code, a broad library of professional templates and integrations with major marketing tools. With over 15 million active sites, it also has a vast ecosystem of third-party add-ons.

Elementor has a widely used free version, sufficient for building basic pages. The Pro version is paid via annual subscription and starts at $59 per year for the Essential plan (one site), rising with the Advanced and Agency plans up to around $399 per year for a maximum of 1,000 sites, based on the number of sites and included widgets. Elementor removed lifetime licenses in 2022, so renewal is annual. AI features are a separate paid add-on, and the Elementor One bundle including hosting and other services is also available.
