Factorial is Europe's answer to the big American HR suites: born in Barcelona in 2016, it became a unicorn in 2022 and today manages HR, attendance, payroll and recruiting for thousands of SMEs worldwide, with Italian-language support.

Factorial is an all-in-one HR platform designed for small and medium-sized businesses. The system's core is the Core HR module, included in all plans: employee data management, digital documents, electronic signatures, org chart, employee self-service and reporting. Modular hubs are added on top, purchasable based on needs: the Time module for attendance, scheduling and leave requests; the Talent module for performance reviews, goals, onboarding/offboarding, recruiting (with built-in ATS) and training; the Finance module for expense management; and the IT module. Pricing depends on the chosen modules and number of employees. Factorial is available in Italian and many other languages, and for Italian companies supports local specifics such as TFR management, payslips and compliance with Italian labor law. In 2026 it surpassed 16,000 customers across over 90 countries, with a valuation above $2.5 billion after the June Series D.

Factorial's price starts at $8 per user per month for the Core HR module, with a basic plan (limited to documents and digital signatures) and a free trial. There is no fixed public price list: to get an accurate quote you need to contact the sales team or use the online configurator. Discounts are available for annual contracts.
