Moosend competes on price in email marketing: it has advanced automations already in the base plan, a polished editor and a more affordable cost structure than Mailchimp for those with medium-sized lists. No free plan, but the longest trial in the category.

Moosend is an email marketing and marketing automation platform. The main flow is the classic one: you manage your contact lists, create email campaigns with a drag & drop editor or HTML templates, segment your audience and send. The automation section is one of the platform's strengths: the visual flow builder lets you create complex behavior-based sequences — opens, clicks, site visits, purchases — with multiple triggers, actions, splits and wait conditions. Pre-configured automation templates cover the most common use cases such as welcome, abandoned cart, win-back and onboarding. Moosend also includes landing pages, signup forms, transactional emails, detailed reporting with email heatmaps and integration with Zapier and many other tools. Unlike Mailchimp, Moosend only counts active (subscribed) contacts and doesn't include unsubscribers in the total, avoiding cost inflation. The platform has been part of the Sitecore group since 2021.

The Enterprise plan has custom pricing with a dedicated account, SLA and advanced features. The price is significantly lower than Mailchimp for medium and large lists, with advanced automations already included in the base plan.
