Shift is a desktop application for Windows and macOS that works as a browser dedicated to work tools. The premise is to solve the multi-account management problem: those with multiple Gmail, Outlook, Slack, LinkedIn, Trello and other tool accounts know how tedious it is to constantly log in and out between accounts or open incognito sessions. With Shift you add all your accounts once to the sidebar — emails, web apps, SaaS tools — and can switch between them with one click, without ever re-entering credentials. Notifications from all accounts appear unified in Shift's panel. You can also add Chrome extensions inside Shift and use them with all your accounts. The free plan is limited to 2 email accounts; the Advanced plan unlocks unlimited accounts. Shift is particularly valued by those managing multiple clients (agencies, freelancers with separate accounts for each client) or those who need to keep both personal and business emails under control.
