ShareX is an open source Windows application that combines screenshots, screen recording, annotation, editing and content sharing in a single tool. Capture modes are numerous: full screen, active window, hand-selected region, scrolling window to capture long pages, webcam. After capture, the built-in editor lets you add arrows, text, rectangles, highlights, blurs (to mask sensitive data), callouts and much more. Automated workflows activate after each screenshot: you can configure ShareX to automatically upload the image to a cloud service (Imgur, Dropbox, Google Drive, Amazon S3 and dozens of others), copy the link to clipboard and open the editor, all in sequence without manual clicks. Screen recording produces videos in GIF or MP4 formats. ShareX also includes text recognition (OCR) to extract text from screenshots, a color picker tool, a QR code generator and other utility tools. It's open source on GitHub and contains no advertising or paid features.
